Project: Kammeyer-Garden

Kammeyer-Garden in Dresden
Concept for management of rainwater

The basic assignment was to restructure the historic garden and to enhance existing deficits. Ergo, the aim of this work was to create aesthetic and ecological improvements.

The basic design concept is influenced by the "Genius Loci"-idea. Because of that the ideal for the planning includes to conceive a natural, dreamy and romantic garden.

To achieve this aim, this planning contains the involvement of a system for use of rainwater. The rainwater won on the roof surface is conducted into an aesthetically appealing rivulet to be used for irrigating the area.
